Yeah - raise your target price a grand or two and/or widen your search area.

I stopped by the local dealership today and they had two verts, both were autos, I don't remember which model but they both had leather and the navigation system...they were each $43k.

I had a dealer offer me a new 05 touring left over 6 speed for $30,000 sticker was $37,900. I would say see if you can find a left over you should be able to get a enth model for even less if you can find one

you looking for new or used? used look at craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, la times/oc register classifieds. new, for 26000? your looking more at a 350z base my friend, no one is gonna sell you a ZR for that.

$27k should nab you a 2004 Roadster with around 40k miles on it... Thats for a Enthusiast model, figure $29k for a Touring model with same mileage

Also its going to be harder to find a used Roadster vs a Coupe since Roadsters makes up a smaller precentage of 350z's

ya, thanks for all the responses guys. I am looking strictly USED. Anyway, i was really interested at one on auto trader that was a 2004 silver roadster thathad 18k miles, upgraded wheels and brake package, and it was offered at $26k... but that listing dissapeared from the net today, and the seller has yet to respond to my calls and voicemails.
So, i spent my day driving around to all the dealerships around here and only really found one that i am interested in. It is a '04 Enth Roadster [charcoal with black leather] auto, tinted windows, and only 11,000 miles!!! It is listed for $31k... so we'll see what i can do with them...

Trade in value on that car your looking at is $23,500 High retail is 26,500. I would offer 1000 over trade in and bargain from there. I wouldnt pay over 25,500 for that car. Good luck it sounds like a nice one. BEN

Carmax has a blue 04 ZR Touring with 11k miles for $29k in LA (Ontario). It is an automatic. They won't deal, but their cars are top notch.

Hey "BSTANSBU"-
Thanks a lot for all the helpful comments and all... im assuming that link you posted for me was a link to what the car i am looking at is worth, but when i went to it, it did not work... so if there's any other way to get that to me with the information on it, id really like that. My email is brentr19@hotmail.com if that helps. You have no idea how stoked i am that not only you, but everyone out there in this community- at how eager you are to help another person out. Its really a great vibe running in this community. Anyway, im going out looking at more Z's tomorrow, and i would really like to have that printout of the link you sent me to take with me as i am going again to look at that specific Z.
You guys are all awesome in this community, and i thank you all for all the help. I absolutely cannot wait to get my own Z this week... stoked!!!

Take it easy dudes,
Brent

Brent, Im not sure why my link is not working, I saved it correctly, anyways Ill let you do it your self so you know how to do it. Its so easy really. Just go to www.nada.com and click on used car values. then just click on all that retains to your car. Thats it. Also go to www.kbb.com and do the same thing. Each used car value site will be slightly differnt. I tend to just take an avg of the 2 to get me in a ballpark figure for the vehicles worth. On a side, note, are you really only wanting the automatic? Unless youve lost your right arm in a freak blending smoothies accident, get the 6 speed. It is a sports car after all. BEN
