The dealer cannot give you a MSRP. The MSPR is fixed.

What is the MSPR?

You can definately get lower than that...a lot of people out here are getting their enthusiast for abou $29k - $29.5k OTD including ttl...i got this quote in so cal...so that should give you an idea on taxes...check to see invoice and deal from there...good luck!

Offer $27,765. Stick with the offer and don't budget a nickel.

No, he's still making factory holdback and floorplan fees (~$600-750). I used http://www.carbuyingtips.com/ to come up with a better offer and paid less than invoice for my 06.

You can always do better. A couple grand below MSRP ain't bad though.

Question is how much more time do you want to put into getting another few hundred off?

Just use a broker like costcoauto.com

I got mine for $500 over invoice. I thought it was an excellent deal, and the best part is they got the exact car I wanted with no haggle and no hassle, delivered to a dealership within 2 miles of where I lived.

Some people may be able to haggle to get below invoice, and power to them. I prefer to get the car for a fair price (not the BEST price), in the long run I don't care about $500.

he said he said. I don't believe any numbers that a dealer gives me. I don't like the price. If its OK with you, go for it. Me? I would be patient.

no, same car: 06 enthusiast. MSRP is 30575 (w/ destination charge and side airbags) invoice is 28102 (he claims) and he is offering me 28700. so basically i'm getting it for 600 above invoice.

My experience in the last month told me that the price of cars depends on the area. For ex. Bailey Bill said he paid $27,700 for an enthusiast plus options. Over in Miami all the dealers wouldn't drop past 26,7xx on a Base. and thats without the Destination charge! I tried for a month and went up and down South Florida and all the dealers were the same. I think it has to do with the demand in the city + the cost of living
