Default A deal on these 04's?

I spoke with a dealer and, although I'm in complete love with 06's I don't think I'm going to be able to afford living if I get my hands on one.

The dealer gave me this as what they currently have in 04's :

04 Touring Coupe for 24k, 25-30k miles

Now I don't know much about the 04's so I figured I'd ask some of the experts here if it was a good price or if 04's are even the way to go.
After all, I've got some serious concerns that bodykits might not fit right on the models.
I'm looking more at the Coupe just out of like of design and safety.

Question

I think that your first step is to decide what model is most appropriate for you.

Well, I sent the dealer an e-mail and she's going to respond as soon as she can.

As for my choice, I'm going to stick with the 04 Coupe model (I just don't dig the Roadster for some reason).

Any opinions/information about 04's you guys are willing to share?
I thought there was mention with tire troubles but that may have just been in the 03 models...

I bought my 03 Touring coupe 2 1/2 yrs ago for 29k w/11k miles.
My thoughts in retrospec are this:
Tell them you didn't want the Touring, and that you were interested in a Perf.
You don't want the Bose anyways and the Heated seats are nice but aren't needed.
Then talk them down. I think BB should be about 22k or so I don't know but you should get it cheaper.
Then find out if the tranny is on the recall and have them do all maintenance before you pick her up. Shake down the car. You know the symptoms from being on here.
Axle clicking, tranny grinding(especially getting to 3rd or 5th while still cold, don't allow it to warm up), Bose(bring a CD and check it out), grease streaks on window, fuel filler. Stuff like that.
MAKE THEM fix this before pickup and tell them that you wont sign until they have been addressed. Im sure they will make you make a deposit. But doing so now will keep you loving her forever.

Ah, thanks guys!
I just got the info on the mileage for the tourist and the dealer said it had 25-30k miles on it. I'm a little annoyed that I couldn't get exact specs but I saw the car the other and day (besides the fact that they had let the battery die apparently) it was a beautiful piece. I talked to the salemans who tried to start it and he apologized and said they'd send it to be check out completely because it should have started right up.

Now that I made it clear I have my eyes on the little silver thing their double checking how it runs and have promised to allow me to drive it for a test drive when I buzz back by the dealership (and I know their hopin I love it as much as the manual 06 I rode in because the salesman with that particular car was a bit of an ****).

So again, thank you everyone. I'll make sure she's gone through some good tests (since I won't get around to making ANY payment until december- and that gives me plenty of time to scope her out more.) before I put any money down or drive her off the lot.

Right now I have to give a nod to whoever owned her before me- from the looks standpoint she's been taken very good care of with no visable body damage or interior damage.

Alrighty, I might have found the car on Autotrader and I sent an e-mail to the dealership for comformation...

If so I just got the price dropped roughly a thousand dollars, since Autotrader lists the car I being up for grabs at $23,206 and the price on the car at the dealership was something like...$24,995.

Gah, I'm just glad the lady I'm working with likes me.

Yeah, I'm currently checking out the different cars on Autotrader.
Found a few good ones...
Even a beautiful 2005 350z Enthu. (with Fairlady Z emblem) in D. Blue.
Their asking $24,995 for 10,890 mileage.

But the dealership looks...questionable. >_>

Okay, well, after an arguement with my relatives (their doing everything they can now to make sure I DON'T get a Z) I went out to the dealership and snapped some pics.

Also found it has 49,413 miles on it.
For 24,995K, I think their asking a bit much. However I searched on Autotrader and found the EXACT same car from the dealership listed as costing $23,206. What's up with that?
Regarding the car:
There's also some minor scratchs/paint chips on the front bummer but overall it's a beauitful model.
I really like the car, despite it being preowned, it was taken car of and would only need some minor buffing and a car wash!
Anyway, I've sent the gal I've been working with over the car an e-mail stating my concerns.
I also wish they still had their 05 model but they sold it about a week ago.

I know the one 05 Enthu. from the dealership out in Tampa has less miles but it has body damage (front and rear) and, although it's got some interior mods, the inside just disgusts me. It looks like they did some definate bad-ownership to the car.
It's now up for $23,500. A big drop from the $24,995 it was posted as.
Ick.

So my goal is to go with the dealership that's closer to me (the one with the Touring model).
I'll try to keep things updated as I go along.

Oh and here are some pics (sorry if their huge, I tried to resize them) :

On the last one I tried to get a shot showing the knee pad was there.
