Pathetic.

He loses all credibility when he criticizes the ENGINE.

Hm...only engine in history to be on Ward's Top 10 since its inception?

Hm...it sounds BAD? I'd like to see what he thinks sounds GOOD.

Idiot.

Someone needs to strangle this guy. Did he seriously say the engine sound bothered him that much he didn't want to open it up? What a friggin panzy!

His obvious Brit bias is so overwhelming he doesn't really review the car. He hates anything Japanese, French, or American. If Nissan had used a British motor he would given the car a great rating. At the end he says he will give the Z a pass until the British version comes out, which he will undoubtly praise as the greatest sports car ever.

That "noise" is one of my favorite things about my Z.

you gotta take into consideration that he drives around ferraris, lambo and other exotic, all day long. when you're use to the tone of a 12 cylinder, things might be different.

You don't know Clarkson. I was a little annoyed too when I first watched this last year but he is very opinionated. I take things he says with a pinch of salt. He is actually a great journalist and fun to watch. One of his favourite cars is the Honda S 2000 (Japanese). He has given plenty of British cars a good slagging off including the Rover cars (now bankrupt) and TVR. His current car is a Ford GT (American) and I believe he is looking at buying a Gallardo next. He changes his mind with things so much.

He actually has just released a DVD comparing Americas finest muscle with Europes best cars. I have got it but not watch it get.

No I've watched many of his shows and he does a pretty good job of judging things within their market. Though I don't agree with a lot of the thins he says about the Z I do agree with some of the things. Like the plastic usage. That has bothered me, the center console garage door, I don't think a single person has ever got in my car and opened it the right way their first time. I think its pretty bad when you have to teach everyone how to open a door. Other than some small things on the Z I think the overall package is great though, I would have nothing else in my garage.

a lot of people actually complains about the nav door, getting stuck etc. they revised it for the 04 or 05 model (my 05 gets stuck, once in awhile). but yeah, he's just one dude, giving out an opinion. My 1st impression of the z's interior wasn't great, but Like the zillion people who bought the z, I'm loving it no matter what the media says
