Question overprised?

i love 350z. and i am looking for a 2003 base 350z. something reasonably priced with about 50k or less miles. i also want the car in good condition. on kbb, the price for a base 03 z is 16540 but on cars.com and other car selling websites, the 350z that cost that much all have something wrong with them in carfax. so, please tell me if you either know of any less overly priced car selling websites or, am i crazy for wanting a z in the mentioned categories for that price.

1) Is $16450 the wholesale or retail price. I suspect wholesale.

2) The prices on cars.com are retail, and they are asking prices[, not selling prices.

Welcome.

The prices are determined by supply and demand. A 350Z with 25,000 miles will sell for more than one with 50,000 miles. A 350Z in pristine condition will sell for more than one that was been abused. There is no easy to get around this rule.

Set a budget
Go shopping
Find a 350Z that you like
Make an offer

+1. Often buyers do not understand the difference between asking and selling prices. If your budget is $25,000, and you find a 350Z for $27,000, offer $25,000. It helps to have a roll of money in your pocket, and be ready to buy now. Sellers respect money.
