Smile Possible Z purchase

Hello all, I just became a member. I've always been into the Z car and basically a huge car enthusiast. I havnt been able to afford one but i just recently got myself a great job and I'm thinking about buying one. I'm looking into buying one within the next few months. Will most likely be an 07 MT. What did yall do with financing? A big down payment? cash? what were your payments and for how many months?

Thanks guys (oh and girls)

Welcome and good luck. It will be interesting to hear about how your purchase goes. Will this be a daily driver? What trim level? As a prospective Z buyer I am in the same boat. I'm considering getting something used, anything post-03, so that I can mod without fear of voiding a factory warranty and won't have to worry about the tanking resale value.

Be prepared. There is lot of Z insecurity here, so be careful how you pose questions--particularly about stock power output. Also, there seems to be a small contingent of proxy salesmen for Subaru and Mitsubishi.

I would save up for a big downpayment like $10k to lower your monthly payments, buy not much more than invoice, and yeah, check around for the best deal on a Insurance policy to configure in additional to the monthly payments. and good choice on the 2007.

Yes it will be a daily driver. I commute about almost 60 miles every business day. Home to school back home... to work.. back home for the night.

I would most likely purchase the Enthusiast and have the nismo side skirts and possibly the nismo spoiler installed when i purchase the car. I can at least put down about 10K... i would like to put more like 12-15K

I've looked around and alot of people seem to have purchased there new Z under MSRP. Is this common?
