What do you guys think? they want $21,500 at the dealership, it has an K&N Air intake, and its drop 2 inches, and the car is spotless, it still smels like new? should i jump on it, or try to find like an 05 Enthusiast or something? opinions please?

P.S: I was trying to find a black six speed, but i cant find one in all of DFW/Forth Worth area, and i need a car i havent had one in 3 weeks....


P.S 2: By the way the one i totalled was an 04 base. Am i better off, or should I shoot for a newer enthuasiat so i can stay in that price range?

 

I would keep looking and be patient. The worst thing you can do is buy a car in a rush. Z deals come and go every week. The one you are looking at is a bit high in $$ for the mileage.

 

I paid $21.9k for my 03/Touring/6spd with 24.9k miles, fully certified until 2010 this past weekend. All stock, inside and outside was mint! If you really want the car, tell them to take a few grand off the asking price.

They're right in saying be patient. I was looking for second Z in black, 6spd and ending up getting PPW. A week after I bought it, there were TWO black 6spds. at good prices. Unless you absolutely love the car, wait for what you really want. But then again, I absolutely love the PPW now. Good luck

 

I researched and looked for my Z for over 6 months. After seeing countless Zs with different mileages, trims, and owners, I came to the conclusion that it's hard to find a car like this that hasn't either been abused, modified, wrecked, or driven the heck out of. I almost bought 3 different cars, but at the end I knew instantly that I had found my car when I saw it after gaining so much knowledge over time.

Edit: Result: 2003 Performance bought in June 2004 with 6542 miles. Got the car at Bankston Nissan of Lewisville after the Z I was going to buy in Oaklahoma didn't check out. On my way home I stopped by the dealership as a long shot. They had just unloaded the car from auction and it was sitting in the back still dirty. Car condition and history checked out and I paid $21,500 talking directly to the used car manager. Got the trim and color that I wanted too . Dealer also performed TSB on tires and alignment before deal was signed.

 

I can always get them to bring the price down, im good at that but the thing is since, i wrecked mine 3 weeks ago, im just tired of not having my car there, how can i check the car history report?

Whats PPW?

 

PPW = Pikes Peak White....it's a color.

Take the vin from the vehicle and go to www.carfax.com if you are going to check more than 1 vehicle you will be better off buying a month of carfax service instead of paying for each separately.
