Hi, I've been looking for a few months and I finally found a DB touring located relatively close to me. It is an '03 Touring w/30k miles and it has an extended warranty. It's been garaged, it's never been smoked in and it's stock. He is asking $22k but he's willing to budge a little. What would you guys consider a reasonable offer? I haven't had a chance to drive it yet, but I would like to have a price in mind before I do.

Also, is an extended warranty transferable?

Well, to give you something to compare it to, I bought my 03 Touring w/nav for $21,500. It had 30k on it as well. But I bought it in January of 2006. If you KBB or NADA that car, its no longer worth $22k. Private party value for NADA is something like $20,500 or so. Trade in is about $18,500.

I love my car, but I have learned to never overpay. Doesnt sound like your getting a very good deal for $22k. I would offer more like $19k, but Im not sure how far he is willing to budge.

Im not sure if the warranty is transferable or not. Is it a Nissan extended warranty, or some other type of warranty purhased for the vehicle?

 

$22K is definately high but with only 30,000 miles and if it has been garaged & well cared for (does he have maintenance records?), it might be worth a little on the high side. I'd think $20 K to $21 K.

Be sure you get Carfax & have inspected top to bottom.

I think warrenty is transferable but I'm not the last word.

 

I just recently got my 03 Touring for $18,500, from a dealer no less. It also came loaded w/ nav., 22 seems a bit high.
