Pray for me, guys. I may have found it.

Here she is. 03 Touring with Navi 23k on the odo. They're asking $23k, I will offer $20k and see where it goes. More importantly, they have to offer me 9500 for my trade-in (10300 after tax). I took a look at it today, and it was in damn near flawless shape, aside from a little touch-up on the front of the bumper (I barely even noticed it).
So hopefully this is it, guys. After months and searching and annoying threads, pray for me, because I may have found it.
Edit: And yes, those rims WILL go. Fear not.
Good luck man. Is this from a private seller, if it is from a dealer try to get it for under 20k. I picked up my 03 touring last year for @18k and some change. If you can sell your car first do so because you will be able to get more for your car selling it privately than taking it to the dealer and trading it in.
Thanks Shezzhott.
CRIDDA: It's from a dealership. You think I should start lower than 20? I'll give it a shot. I've also been trying to get my car sold here and other forums, but to no avail.
Dubb: Yeah, they are pretty rare for being OEM. I thought they were aftermarket at first, until I saw them in person. They don't look bad, but they're chrome, so I'm sure they're heavy. I'll get a set of lighweight 18s (or the polished OEM 5-spokers), that way I can keep the brand new tires.

I actually am a fan of those wheels, some wheel spacers would setthose wheels off nice. Good luck with your purchase...I have found the best thing to do when trying to find a deal is ask for what you want(20k) whats the worst thing they can do say no. You cant close a door you have not opened. good luck!
p.s. I sold cars for two years.

Ugh...the guy was being a total jerk when I went there. He wouldn't budge from 22k. Wouldn't take 20 or even 21. I figure this: he said he also has the OEM 7-spoke 17s (I think with tires) with the car that he will be giving me. I'll take the car for 22k and sell the rims w/ tires and basically end up getting a grand back, so essentially I got it for 21.
I dunno. But the guy had a terrible attitude, and wouldn't even let me speak.

if u keep hitting 21 he will come down. Keep talking to him and then cool off for a few days he will call. I was trying to bargain down a lotus elise from 43K to 40k and the lowest he would go was 41k. I sat there for an hour and was like 40 is what I want and he wouldnt move. Few days later he calls my cousin trying to reach me and told me to come back in. I check the website and they lowered the price from 42995 to 39995 lol. Probably could have gotten it for 39 or even 38.5 but I walked and got a Z ^^. Keep at it!
The guy didn't even give a **** about taking down my #. I honestly highly, highly doubt he will call. To him he's not gaining anything, he's giving me a car, but I'm giving him one right back - so he's back to square one. After I left, I almost bought a Black/Black that I've been looking at for a while now, test drove it for a second time, but wasn't too keen on the price (21k no budge). The black/black needs a serious detail too, and it has 35k on the clock and no navi.
I'd rather have paid 22k for the Silverstone with Navi, and then sold the second set of rims and tires for almost 1K and have a car with 23k miles on it. My pop is confident he will call back with 21k as his offer...I doubt it very much, but we'll see I guess.

Im sure he will come down to 21k maybe even be like hey man ill give u 200 bucks to just take it lol. thats probably wont work but umm ya take the new car and sell the rims. The thing is about that car is if he is willing to let it go for 23k he must have taken the car trade in around 20 or so. so no matter what they are stilling making something.
You absolutely will not get $1000 or even close to it for either of those sets of wheels. The OEM 17's sell for an average of $300-$400 dollars with tires. I don't know how much those chromes would go for, but not $1000
My advice to you...wait it out. I got my 2003 a year and a half ago with 24k miles for $21k. It doesn't have navi, but it was a year and a half ago.
Me personally, I wouldn't pay a dime over $19k for a 2003 right now, no matter what the miles. But it's your money, so do whatever you want.
Good luck, hope you get into a Z soon.

I paid $18,600 for my '04 PPW touring, Auto, leather, bose, aero, no navi though
Stick to your guns on price, go low, they'll counter, stay low again, they'll counter....just keep @ your price and they will give in if there is anything at all to be made on it.
As hard as this might sound, you might want to wait until the END of the month. All dealerships have sales goals and going in the last week of the month is almost GUARANTEED to get you a better deal. Please take it from me I sold cars for a long enough time....thank God I dont anymore...Good luck brah

Thanks a lot, Seel. There's a 2006 Touring overstock at a dealership I visited not too long ago. I'm considering just getting it now. Offer them 16000 + trade-in for the new one. Last time I was there, the manager said he could make anything happen and that he wanted to make it happen. Buying a car is annoying. Leasing is so much easier. Haha.

Hehehe, thanks. Leasing isn't an option for me. I'd prefer to be the owner of the car, since I'm also putting money down from the trade-in of my car. What do you think I should offer for the overstock 06 Touring? Keep in mind, I have a trade-in.
I'd probably start around $27k w/6spd which is very low. Play the hit em low, they counter, hit em low, they counter game with them. Negotiate price on the Z first. Once you've reached that point then hit them with the trade. In most cases dealers will want to give you a discount on the new car based on your trade and play with numbers in that scenario. In my experience that usually never works out better for the customer. Keep in mind an acceptable amount to take for your trade. Have your trade in washed/clean condition so the appraiser has it in his mind that you took really good care of it. That might sound a little cheesy but it also might save you between $500-$1000 based on judge a book by it's cover thinking.
Hope this helps a little. Let me know if you have more questions.
