Why not call the dealers around your area and ask?

Hmmm...that sounds like a really good idea! Dealers probably know if they can still order one .

I found a dealer that would order me one July 1st (my dealer orders the first week of the month) so I assume you can still order one.

Finding a dealer thats willing to order one might be tough though. I had to shop around to find someone that was willing to order one... most of the ones I went to wanted to sell me one off the lot.

That's just because they want to meet numbers before the end of the month. Just make them aware you won't do business with them at all if they don't want to get you what you want, and 9 times out of 10 they will do whatever to get a sale.

They will probably try to tell you that the 200$ is for the truck to move the car to the dealer... (thats what they told me). Total BS, they are getting cars anyway.. no reason I should pay for the trucker's paycheck that day myself...

I would take it. Its a good deal for everyone involved.

Sure you might get it somewhere for 200 bucks less but really you said it yourself you had trouble finding someone to order it for you.

Hey guys, I went to the dealer today to put down my deposit for the factory order. The internet sales manager saw my costco card and she said I would be able to get it for invoice so I was like cool. But then when she went to get the form from her manager the guy said that since its factory order the price would be 500 over invoice and the 500 bucks deposit is not refundable. I think they're just saying that so I would pay the extra 500 over invoice. So I left and now going to try other dealers to see if they can do it for lower.

well I would make them stick to the quoted price of 200 over invoice and pay the 500 deposit. If they gave you problems I would leave but just because they are being shady not because I wanted to pinch some pennys.

Someone else might give you an invoice price but then nickel and dime you where you end up spending more.

Question

Did you buy a 350Z off the lot or order one?
