Does any know the ground clearance for the NISMO aero packet/ground effects? What is ordinary clearance of factory models?
Very interested in purchasing full aero packet but have major concerns with clearance issue.
Anyone who has seen Z upclose, please provide input/guidance.

Kool-
An educated guess, but I would think that is for the set of 4.
I wonder what dealerships will carry the NISMO torch, like Conicelli and a few others have for TRD.
Steve-
I wonder if we will see the discounted prices right away. I have a suspicion that most of the dealers will want premium dollar for the parts. In the long run I am sure the prices will come down due to competition, but I hope that is sooner than later.

I noticed a little bit of confusion on this thread. There are 2 types of Nissan 'accessories' in Japan. Nissan accessories and Nismo accessories. They are not the same, sometimes they compete, for example, the two exhausts.
The Bilstein shock setup is Nissan developed and gives a firmer ride. The Nismo setup is completely different, it's developed by Nismo and is also firmer than stock, but lowers the car 20mm.
Nismo and Nissan accessory parts have different development channels.
BTW, "yes" you will be able to finance the cost of the Nismo parts into your car (if purchasing new). Makes it MUCH more attractive...doesn't it.
Hope this helps guys.

Mr350Z,
You said that we can finance the NISMO parts into our new car purchase. Well, if the cars are arriving in a couple of weeks, and we don't have a catalog of parts and prices then I don't see how that could work.

2 questions for those experts out there:
1. Someone had mentioned that an A4 aero kit was made out of polyurethane unlike the NISMO kit for the 350. Is this at all researched or is the NISMO kit polyurethane? I dont want to deal with fiberglass, it just damages to easy.
2.Does the NISMO kit contain a replacement for the entire front bumper section, or is it just the lip on the bottom?
Great job by everyone on this thread. Thanks for all the info.

I'll repy to both your questions.
Nismo parts will be launched early next year for both 350Z and for SE-R. Granted Nismo parts will be available in Japan before that, however they will be considerably more expensive. Believe it or not we are looking out for you guys.
The aero kit that Nismo will offer for the 350Z is indeed fiberglass, and yes it is a whole new front bumper. The design is great, the material is not, and the MSRP is quite high. So, don't look for this exact part here in the US. Look for a higher quality part here.
Hope this helps.

Yes it does help. Are you trying to say that they might(unofficially of course! ) use poly for the US application? Oh I hope so!!!!! If not I want to see who makes a similar design in poly! No fiberglass for me.
