Dealers make a good bit on money on their financing too. I think thats an important part of the negotiation, the interest rate.

The dealer I went to this past summer was trying to charge me MSRP on a leftover '06 Enth even after he sent me an internet special showing $1000 less.

When I first got there he tried charging $3000 more because it had chrome rims on it then we negotiated to swap stock rims.

I told him I had my own financing and he had me fill out finance paperwork anyway and brought out the finance specialist to chat with me. Then they tried negotiating strictly on monthly payments.

I was like WTF and I walked the hell out of there.

2007 is considered classic compared to 2008, that's why it's more expensive. LOL

Let me help out: Most 07 350Zs in ground stock are late production, and have been floored for less time than many pieces 08 stock. The only real reason to close on an 07 is if you want a solar orange or daytona blue. If spending minimum $$ is the only goal and resale over the next 2-7 years is not important, rebates are typically introduced on the second.
Go take a look at this *** clown in the "Price i should expect to pay for a base 07?. He works for a dealership and you figure.....

That's BS. There is no reason to make you fill out financing paperwork.

yea I think it was for their safety... but completely unneeded and a waste of time. They put like 19% APR on it hahaha.

I got the car now though and I am happy. When I bought it, there was no financing on the form, just me paying it all off in cash. So its all cool now.
Bought it almost 4 grand under Sticker price.

Yeah, I just find that stuff irritating.

You are nice than I am. I would have said no, and if they insisted, walked.
