$1,800 is way too much for shocks and springs. $500 isn't too bad but it's still expensive for front and rear swaybars.

I think I want the springs and sways and skip the shocks. Does anyone know if there is a significant difference between the Nismo shocks vs the stock shocks? And, if you just get the springs, how much would the kit be then?

And, why would these parts cost more than Japan Parts? It's $1,600 for the shocks, springs AND sways from JP as opposed to $2,300 from Nissan!!

They are 1200 from gruppe-s, if this is the way Nismo is going to be so much for the wait.

Is the S-Tune Cat-Back exhaust system - $1,100 the same one which I've seen selling for over $1800? And any word on gains by this? It'd be nice to get a new exhaust which is covered by warrenty.

Yeah, but the only way they will honor it is if installed by the dealer so hold on for the additional expense of dealer installations, a friend got quoted 280 bucks for spring installation.

Those prices stink. This is really disappointing.

Victor, what is your source for this info?

This NISMO launch is an early launch due to high demand. The formal launch will be in Fall.

When can we place orders through US dealers? Now?

Those prices are insane. And I can't believe some of the parts that qualify for "off road use only."

Thanks for the info, Vic, but it's pretty disappointing.

What the hell are they thinking? $1800 for just shocks and springs? Even if that included installation costs at a dealer, that's insane.

This is going to fail miserably unless they lower those prices to at LEAST what people can order them in Japan for!

I'm supremely disappointed, as I've been waiting for the NISMO launch here in the US to get the exhaust and suspension. I wrongly figured the stuff would be a bit cheaper once they sold it here. Stupid me.

I was in the same boat. Waiting for NISMO USA thinking it would be cheaper and include a warranty. So much for that at this rate. I think I'll just order my NISMO stuff from japanparts.com or gruppe-s.com (depends on the shipping $).

How long would the warrenty be anyway 1yr / 12k miles??

They probably think most of us doesn't know where to buy NISMO products so if we want it, we have to buy it from the dealer. Guess they never heard of aftermarket shops..

With this price, it will go down the drain before it's even started..

So the warranty stuff is only valid if installed by a certified Nissan dealer? How will they know? Can't you say that it was installed at some other dealer or do they enter the records on their computer?

What about purchasing it from an importer and having it installed by the dealer?

The prices are completely absurd and we only have a couple of dealer labor quotes that are equally absurd. Who are they kidding? If they want my business, they have to come down by 30-40% on parts and labor.

Don't forget that when you buy direct from overseas you still have to add in the cost of freight, Customs Duties and possibly fees. All this has been included.

But I still agree with everyone that the prices are still way too high and then to have to pay ridiculous dealer install prices just for warranty.

This program isn't going to do well for NNA.
