Default price

I have read on the forums that quite a few of you have been able to get 07/08 base models otd for 24,000-25500. I am calling my local dealership and the best ive gotten so far is 26,000. When i tell them ive seen people getting them for 25,000 otd they tell me to show them where becuase they will go buy it themselves for that price. I have been bsing them by saying the dealerhip about 20 miles away is giving me the price but so far no luck. my question is how did you guys get those prices?

Out-the-door pricing is a waste of time.
Asking for quotes is a waste of time.

What are you willing to pay? Sit face-to-face with a salesperson, and make your offer.

Money talks. BS walks.

There are a lot of people on here who like to make themselves feel good by stating they got the best deals. The truth probably is they got robbed and now have to make up for it by stating they picked up a new 07/08 for 24-25K. Its not happening and most likely is BS.

Well, i never checked what i got my car for, but its gotta be around that 25k mark. It was 27even after TTL, thats 9% sales tax, and a couple hundred in title and license. I got a price from a dealership in ebay (check them out with NNA first) and then took their price to a local dealership and said "this is what im paying over there, do you want the sale" about 3mins later he came back and said we can beat it. only 200 bucks, but they didnt know i would have had to pay $700to ship that car down here! Its best, in my experience, to get an online quote. Ive alwatys gotten better prices when going through the internet sales departments.
