Default ???'s about VPP

My neighbor works for Nissan at the proving grounds south of Phoenix and can get me VPP pricing on any Nissan products. Can anyone tell me what kind of discount that actually is. He didn't know the actual amount but said it is below factory invoice, is that true? Is there any mystery to this program?

Thanks for enlightening me.

Default Nissan VPP not on all vehicle

According to the VPP web page, 350Z is not available for VPP purchase, not sure how your neighbor can get any vehicle, best to double check with the neighbor.
Below is the webpage for info on NISSAN VPP:
http://www.insidenissan.com
Click on 'Nissan' located across the top gray area to enter the page.
Below are the VPP incentive and participating vehicles:

I just mentioned the Z to him over the weekend and he told me about the VPP. He didn't seem to know much about it though he did say he bought both of his cars through it, an Exterra and a Maxima. Thanks for the headsup.

I work for a company that gets the VPP through the business partner agreement. My dealer said right now the Z is not on it and could change month to month. They just took the Murano off the excluded list so it could be any time. But if we are lucky enough to get the VPP on a Z anytime soon it should work out to invoice or below.

its not available, but somehow or another a guy got me VPP pricing, and a track model with EVERYTHING except nav, was like 30000$, including destination.

but it wasnt available. I think the pricing is like 3% over invoice. NOT including holdback or anything else, so its a lower price.

The 350Z and G35 Coupe just became available under the VPP program for Nissan employees (only). The VPP program customer service guy said that Nissan Partner availability normally follows 1 to 2 months behind Nissan Employee availability. He advised me to try again in a month or so.

I thought the VPP program was over this month... maybe wrong. I got my Touring w/no nav. on VPP six months ago. I went to three dealers and called most of them in SoCal. non would VPP the 350Z....UNTIL I called Cerritos Nissan, they were more than willing to do it but the exact car I wanted wasn't coming in for over two months. Then I found Irvine Nissan and they had my Z and were willing to VPP the car to me because I aunt was a extremely high Nissan exec. You have to go to a high volume dealer to do a VPP on a 350Z because they get a lot of Zs, even some that they don't order. The sales lady that sold me my Z at Irvine told me that they were getting minimun ten more Zs a month that they didn't order because they were such a high volume dealer. Well hope this helps and good lucky!

Well I visited the insidenissan site and turns out my company qualifies for the business associate plan, thats funny! Its basically invoice minus incentives (none) plus 2.5% of dealer net (holdback?) I could probably negotiate that myself. Thanks for the help, I am few months out still so I will keep checking.

actually I paid a little under 32gs otd for a touring 6spd with all options but nav, mud gaurds, and spoiler. alot less than invoice. so if i didn't get the VPP I would have bought a M3.

I'm getting VPP, but had to search for a dealer to do it. Ended up going with the dealer that sells the my family member who is a Nissan Engineer his cars. He's giving me the pricing. I know on the '03 the price on my touring Automatic with Floor Mats, Trunk Mats and Spalsh guards came down roughly $2500 off MRSP.

Just ordered the '04 though since '03 couldn't be ordered this month. Since pricing is not out I'm not sure what VPP price will be. But I was ensured that he will still honor me the VPP Extended Family discount.
