Default Buying a new 08 Z

Well i got quoted from my dealer today $28,469 for an enthusiast blue today. And for the base model $27,200. But they told me that for the enthusiast one they dont have none in 6MT, and base they have one blue 6mt in their dealer i can get for 27,200 + TTL. Do you guys think these are good prices? How are the leases on these cars?

I plan to keep the car after wards. It would be a lease to buy. I just want to know if i did good on getting the 350z down to those prices mentioned.

After 4 months you should have this price thing figured out.

if its not what you originally wanted then dont get it. It will bother you down the road but you will find yourself saying, "but i still love her"

Very true. You'll not keep the things you never really wanted for long. You HAVE TO get the exact thing you like especially dishing out that much money. I'm getting the same car as you do tonight & i would only get the car that exactly match what i want.

6MT or 5AT...

Get at least the tranny you want!

About the trim, can you live without a cruise control? I sure cannot!

If they want to make money with you, make them work for it...

I flew across 3 states to pick up my Z Track. Never regreted it until I broke it.

Now I'm looking for an Enthusiast...

Based on what I know, they are not necessarily good prices. If you have other dealers to work with, tell the dealership you would look around. If they come back to you and say what it takes to earn your business, ask for $2,000 more discount.

my dealer says he found me another nogaro red enthusiast, sticker was $32,160. i am trading in a 2003 ford escape, and he says the best price he can give me is $22,936, + tax of course.

not sure what the trade value is, assume around $7,000. could be $6,500, could be $8,000. you take the $7,000 from the $32,160 and you have $25,160. subtract $22,936 from the $25,160 and it looks like he is knocking around $2,200 off the sticker.

not sure what to make of this, but i would classify this offer as "Fair", nothing more, nothing less.

what do you guys think?

Mike
