Default Where to find 350Z with bad engine

I'm currently driving a 350Z roadster -- loving it.

My lease expires in 6 months and I am looking to do something
a little different -- but still drive the same class of car.

I want to build an Electric Vehicle.

while the Z is not the perfect donor -- I'm still a Z nut none the same
so I would like to see if I can find a Z that
is in otherwise perfect condition -- but had a blown engine.

any pointers where to look?

My first choice would be a roadster -- then a coupe.

thanks,

M

try a junkyard.... youll probly still have to some body work...

but seriously, why? dont put the z through that, please! get a fiero, those make good electric cars...

not to be rude bud, to each his own. i just wanted to prepare you for the flames to come! one thing you probly dont wanna do here in this forum is talk about choppin up the Z. besides, its a horrible move.

using LiFePo4 batteries with an 11" motor
you can get ~190kW of power, that's about ~200hp and 540ft lbs of torque

This is not too shabby.

That same setup should get you 50+ miles at 65mph+

Top speed in excess of 85 mph.
