Default Newb Question 06' touring pricing

Im planning on buying a Z. I found an 06' i love and i know they have oil consumption issues. Its listed for 26,799.. is that too much? Im also going to be trading in an 03' eclipse.

is it worth it to give the 06 MT a shot, since most of them have the OC problem?
or is it just better off to go down a year and get the 05

If you do go down to 05, don't get the anniversary 05. It had a rev up motor as well.

yeah, thanks for reminding me
but the 06+ IMO looks much much nicer.

I just don't know if I should take a shot at 06's after reading all the OC problem threads

The thread on here is almost 200 pages (i tried to keep up and know some folk who have had success getting their issue handled) so apparently it is more significant of an issue than initially thought.

after a test drive, all thoughts of oc went out the door, and i found out it was a grand touring... so im now a proud owner of a redline 06 z
