Default 2003 350z Track

hey im new to the forum and ive been looking into a 350z for a little while. well anyways ive found one that i like and its a 03 dark grey track edition with navigation. The car has 37k on it, brembos , 2 JL Audio 10s, rockford fosgate amp. THe dealer is asking 21k for it. the dealership gave me an experian auto report on it which is like a carfax i guess, and it shows that its already had 4 owners and an odometer problem. what would be a reasonable offer for this car.

Odometer problem? Like why an 03 only has 37k on the clock...? I bought my 03 Track model for 14.7k with 60k on it. BB was around 18.5k or so.

Track or not that seems a little high. However the dealer is correct that is the KBB price for them, i would offer 19,300 and see if they budge.

Do you really want a track model? I would think you could get an '05 Touring with 37k miles or less for the same price -- and no "odometer problem".

yeah im starting to hear a lot of bad things about that dealership and i think i am done dealing with them. Im about to go look at a touring and an enthusiast in north dallas for around the same price, both newer with 40k on them.

Clean title 2003 Nissan 350z Stock with custom paint Job. Sliver with flakes and i still have enough paint left over too...Stock painted rims. Has an Eclipse Navi in dash. Nothing is wrong with the car. The carpet is wore out due to shifting and such...Put a carpet cover over it. Its a head turner trust me. Has about 71,100 miles as of 7/18/08. Asking 15,000 obo. Go get a loan or something. Take it home. SOStowing209@yahoo.com

Stay away from that car. Odometer problem means that something fishy is up. Not worth it imo.

odometer problem is called TMU. true mileage unknown. the dealership stole that car when it was traded. hurts resale value tremendously. offer a really low number if u want it badly.

Alright i appreciate the input guys. I ended up buying a 2006 enthusiast today with 40k on it for $20k. Came with an alpine double din touch screen, blackbird navigation gps, 2 JL w3 10 inch speakers in enclosed box, 6 speed and a CLEAN CARFAX. Oh also got them to make it a certified Preowned so i get the 100k mile warranty. Loooooove it. so glad i held out and found something i liked more that was legit.
