Default For The Wifey?

I stumbled upon a nice car for my girlfriend. Older gentleman in my neighborhood is looking to sell his 2004 Pikes Touring Model. 15000 Miles. 5AT Black Leather. Aero Pack Spolier. Mint Condition. He started at $17450. Got em down to 15300. Is it time to pull the trigger?

Hell yeah! I JUST paid 12,500 for my 03 touring with 48k miles. Man I'm jealous of your shot at a 15,000 mile car

At least my car was the best deal in 200 miles, but I wasn't looking in New Jersey.

As a buyer I always want a lower price. Based on what the market is bearing, is 15300 a reasonable price for the vehicle? Basically, at 15300 am I overpaying?

What kind of negotiating is that? You both agree on 15,300.00 and your thinking about it. You remind me of my customers that want a deal but want to think about it.

It's called: Here is the price ready to buy or are you just looking?

Or, is the seller thinking about it too?

I agree, but you have no deal unless the seller accepts the money. What happens if you return and the seller says $18,450?

He did say no. The sort of terrible part is that he lost his job and he's looking to move the car. I know he's got the title and wants the cash. Desperation is the worst cologne and I can smell it on him from three houses away.

I agree. Pull a roll of $1,000 bills out of your pocket, and I bet the car is yours.

personally I wouldn't get my girl a Z. she doesn't take care of her cars properly, and likes a smoother ride that sits higher up, and I doubt she would know how to handle rwd in bad situations :P
