You might be better served asking these questions on either www.twinturbo.net or www.300zxclub.com . Those guys eat and breath 300ZX and TT.
I know several guys in my club with 300ZX TT and, while they are fast, they are expensive to maintain-especially if you have limited mechanical abilities. If one of the turbos goes bad or leaks, you're looking at a major repair bill. Also, the 300ZX engine has a rubber timing belt which needs to be replaced every 60,000 miles. Again, a several hundred dollar bill.

its just that im not that good mechanically (except on streetbikes) but i wanna get into car engines and such idk if im jumping right into the advanced level while taking this car, thats the problem

if your new to cars this is not the car for you very complex set of piping 4 wheel steering cramped working conditions. Parts are pretty expensive given the age of the car huge aftermarket support though. Some parts not made anylonger.
