Hey everyone,
I'm Hunter. I was just doing some research for Z's online and stumbled across this forum; there seem to be plenty of information on the Z, so I decided to join. I'm currently driving my parents' '01 Accord because, well, I don't really need a car. I plan on getting a used Z as my first car around May/June of '09 as I will be doing more traveling around - summer classes, jobs, internships, roadtrips, etc, so I decided to join this forum and start reading some articles and doing some research while I'm on winter break.
I was hoping for an Audi A/S 4 before, but the high maintenance cost is a big turn down. Then I looked into BMW's, and, well, their maintenance isn't much better than A/S 4's. So I'm left with the choice of a '05+ Mustang, Audi TT, Cadillac CTS, and Nissan 350Z. From my general knowledge, Asian imports usually have cheaper labor costs and generally low maintenance cost while European cars are more expensive in every way, and Americans are somewhat unreliable, so I'm leaning more and more towards the Z.
Cheers

I'd say 90%... there's nothing I don't like about the Z. But then again I have 5 more months to change my mind
I'm also thinking about the G35.
I'm also thinking about the G35.

Hello Hunter I'm also from NJ and bought my 350Z back in April. It's a very entertaining vehicle to drive. But some days I do wish I would have read more and bought either an 07 or G35 07. If you do buy a Z make sure you buy one with a warranty and also 07 and up for the HR power. Do not test drive one as this will definitely buy it that day. Just take a look at it from the outside. Trust me.
