Don't do it. I know being 19 you have it all figured out, but having a car note while your are school is not what you should be focusing on. Put your money into savings and buy a nicer car outright when you get out of school.. heck, have a down payment for a house. You are in college, focus on that. If you have some extra money, good for you. You have PLENTY of time to get yourself into debt, don't do it at this point in your life

Wow I haven't checked this in awhile but clearly you feel the need to keep on talking about it.
I have nothing to justify to you, and yes I do have a job.
I don't care what "weapons contracts" you manage, for who, or how many degrees you are "working towards". I am more intelligent than you, I make more money than you, and my job is more secure than yours. And it's only up from here.
I can probably go on and continue to list the ways in which my job and life is most likely better than yours, but it isn't worth the effort. I'm not here for a pissing contest, I already know I win. So if you feel the need to keep knocking me for my opinions and education which you have proved to know nothing about from several of your uninformed and ignorant comments, you are clearly just proving me right.
And it's not a professor that gives the exams you idiot, it's the Society of Actuaries, and they encompass more material than you can wrap your weapons selling mind around. Why don't you look up something if you aren't familiar before you talk about it so you stop sounding stupid.
And once again this situation our country is in, is NOT linked to mine or any other types of purchasing decisions, you again are an idiot.
I'm done with this. To the OP good luck with whatever choice you made.

I personally would love to hear how your life is better than BurnMac's; or mine for that matter
My advise, write it all down before you forget it all.

I actually still have not bought anything yet. I am waiting for that perfect deal to come across. I have since the start of this thread added another 600 into my income towards a Z.
I have an extremely secure job, it's not going anywhere and I make about 900 a month after taxes. Once again, I live at home and attend a local branch campus and my next three years of school I will be enrolled into the ROTC program.
For those who don't know what it is, basically I am enrolled to be an officer in the military and the majority of my tuiton is paid for during the year and I am given a stipend every month for the 3 years.
1st year, $300 per month
2nd year, $350 per month
3rd year, $450 per month
Also my Internship is through Penn State in collaboration with the department of defense so my job will not be going anywhere while I am in college. My rate will only go up each semester.
Like I said I have an auto trader ad for my car currently listed low in hoped to get 5 or 600 more than a trade would offer me. While, that is being listed I am constantly looking for 03 and 04 Z's that I like and fit my mileage and trim requirements. I originally was in a hurry a few months ago but now I realize I need to wait for that great deal.

Well the car will be paid off using some of my trust fund money. Currently I have enough from family and my aid this year to allow me to only have a 3k loan this year total. My savings has close to 8k in it still and I should be getting an ROTC scholarship next year for the next 3 years which will cover everything just about.

I just finally put a downpayment on a 350z....
04 Performance w/ 57k miles
Aftermarket Ruff Racing wheels
Lease vehicle
Excellent condition with very minor scratches and rock chips
14,000 Out the door
The color is redline which was my second choice only to Daytona Blue heh but i still like redline a lot.
I know I didn't get the most absolute amazing deal but it's a decent deal considering that's out the door pricing and theres no hidden fees he is gonna hit me with. The car is located in north carolina at ES Motorsports. They seem to sell a lot of Z's. I work and have school all day mon tues and wed but Im to pick it up thursday morning for the 6 hour drive. Like I said I know I'm not getting the most amazing deal however it is not a bad deal at all and i will be just happy to finally not pinch all my money to "save" for one. Now I know how much I can spend after i place 150 back into my savings every month. I will post pictures on friday or so!! Thursday couldn't come sooner
