Default is it POSSIBLE to buy a 350z with $12000?

I don't care about the options..

I just want car which
year : 2004~
Miles : ~70000
No accident record

I searched at KBB.com,
and 2005 350z with 60000 miles is $12000 (private party value - fair),
2006 350z with 60000 miles is $12500 (private party value - fair)

I heard that the used car price is between Trade-in(good) amd Private party value(fair) lately.

Is it possible to buy 350z with $12000??

Man.. In 2006 I paid 21,500 for my Z Enthusiast. It is possible, honestly its probably going to be a 2003 Base with high miles. Or maybe a 04 base. I think you need to budjet for 15,000. Theres alot more options in that price range.

Your scraping the bottom of the barrel at 12k.

about 25 Zs on autotrader 13k and under right now

so yes - it is,

probably better to spend a bit more on one still in warranty though

even some in the 10ks in the featured listings... can get a spare one for track only!

thanks for replies, guys!!

is KBB value price reliable?
as i said, i don't care whether it is basic model or higher options.
and kbb says 2005 350z with 60000 miles is $12000 (private party value - fair)

but you guys saying,
it is possible to buy it with $12000 but higher mileage.

kbb price doesn't equeal to real dealing price?

kbb is a guide only, not a set price. that site is just a suggested price for the car and what the car is at least worth. the owner/seller sets the acutal price. you need to actually get out and look at prices for the car in your local area. check carmax and local used car dealers.

kbb is alright but usually the dealers jack up the prices so it doesn't matter. kbb just throws a ballpark figure. the best bet is to check autotrader or your closest dealers.

Anything is possible. You have to be ready now with no fooling around. Buyers are often squeamish with offers like

Would you consider $12,000?

That's not a real offer.

Consider

I will give you $12,000 for the car now.

then pull a roll of hundreds out of your pocket. Money talks. BS walks.

KBB seems to be more designed to benefit dealerships. NADA is a lot more in line with what you should expect to pay. That is why almost all banks use NADA to determine value.

Anyway, you want a Z regardless of the miles and the year? So you are ok with purchasing the lowest quality Z that is for sale? Good luck finding a Z, just don't be surprised if you get one that gives you a lot of trouble.

Give this one a shot.

i do care of years and miles..

I just want to know
if it is possible to buy 2004 or newer and less than 70k miles 350z with my budget
because i looked the kbb's private value price for 350z and it says 12k~13k

of course, with the basic options..
performance or touring models much expensive than that.
