First off. I have a 2003 Touring Model with the dreaded automatic. The amazing fact about my transmission is, I hav'nt experienced any problems with the clutch or synchrinizers. Just slightly sarchastic! The 03 problem with front tire wear is gone, long ago. The problem with the window guides leaving grease trails is still there, but has'nt caused any notable mechanical failures. I bought the car two years ago with 34k on it and it now has 62k on it. It is a daily driver in Ohio seeing all the seasons Ohio has to offer. Most reliable car I have ever owned. If you don'nt mind traveling to get your Z, Check out autotrader.com in the 44706 area code. That would be Canton Ohio, home of the pro football hall of fame. There is a 2003 silver touring model, 6 speed at 13k miles for 17900. Private owner. Take a look. Put your search in at 200 mile from the area code and include dealers and private owners. I think it would be worth a trip to Ohio.
this is nonsense. 06s are not bad. some 06s are bad. my 06 is perfect. never had a lick of oil consumption. and if you pay me 18K for it, ill ship it out there, included in that price. 100K nissan warranty. holla
