Thanks everyone for the feedback! Still looking into everything. I'm not as worried about gas mileage as I am about it being RWD! I know it sounds silly but I've never owned anything RWD and I live in an area that gets some bad winters every so often.

i drove mine through snow a couple times this past winter....the RWD isn't as bad as the minimal ground clearance. TCS helps a lot, but you'll have to turn it off to get through some thicker stuff. get some snow tires for the rear, and it'll do way better than you would expect.

Where in PA are you?

I'd stick with 03-05's. Most 06's have oil consumption problems. 07-08's have a little bit more power which is a plus, but a poor slave cylinder design and weak trans, so a bunch of people lately have needed theirs replaced lately. Good thing about it being 07+ is that they're still under warranty though.

Any reference to back up the claim that most '06's have oil consumption problems?

I understand the concern, but I doubt that most of the Rev-ups have oil consumption issues. Still, I could be wrong and so I was wondering if you had seen something that I hadn't.

its nice to see another chick intrested in the Z... this is what i tell people when they say there looking to buy a Z..., it took me 3 months to settle on a car that i thought was the best deal and i found and 03 with 28,000 miles in mint condition for 14.5K, 6-speed, adult owned.. KBB & CARFAXED it of course then i bought a warranty FROM NISSAN(which is pretty mod friendly) for 1.4K not some usfedelis bullsh*t, i was about to buy an 03 with 75,000 miles from a kid who's car wasnt even his, he bought it from someone to sell it for only 11K though but it wasnt in nearly as good condition and the mileage was obviously a lot higher, i spent more money but I'm A LOT happier with what i picked... just don't rush into anything and make sure you do your homework
