So, I'm considering buying a PPW 350z! I currently drive an 07 si, but I'm getting bored with it, not to mention that I've had HORRIBLE luck with it.
Just wondering some of the pros/cons of ownership and if there are any major quirks with the car that I should check out before purchasing!
Thanks!

all depends on year.. All in all, no major flaws. Search the forums you'll find everything you need to know. What kind of horrible luck have you had with your honda... This is a first

The luck I've had with Honda is MOSTLY not the fault of Honda.
-I dealt with the infamous third gear problem (Honda failed horrible at the 6sp tranny!) and had to have my 3rd gear set replaced
-2 days later a rock chip flew up and cracked my entire wind shield.
-Then my car got keyed. $895 worth of damage to my driver's door
![Frown](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
-Then my car was rear ended by some woman driving a mini van full of kids not paying attention to the road.
I'm sick of dealing with body shops. They never do adequate work. Or maybe my standards are just too high...

Try to step it up a notch with a 05 anniversary or 06 with the revup motor. You won't regret it.
Actually just search the 100 top questions, and you will learn alot. Thats what I did, when i first bought my Z. Good luck to you.

Just because you change cars, doesn't mean your luck will change.
Boredom is a function of the mind, not your possessions. In other words, you're likely to become bored with a Z after a bit as well.
However, the Z is a great car that I really enjoy. Test drive some and see if you like them as well.

I have done a similar transition back in August, from 02 Accord Coupe to 08 350Z Touring. The greatest feeling is, when you first sit in the cockpit right after the purchase. You might doubt yourself the first minute, but once you turn the ignition on and see everything lit.. That's the first sight of impression, then the throttle noise of the first gear takes care of it all.. ![Big Grin](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Mileage is relative. If you drive well, you will get [also depending on the road and weather conditions] anything from 23-26 Hwy, 17~19 city. I drive to work everyday, it is about 45 miles of highway mileage, and i usually get 420~450 miles for tank. But again, your first couple of months will be around 300~350![Big Grin](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
There are more info in the forums..Take your time and go thru all the 350Z Tech Area.. I am still reading a lot, as you might see from the post count![Big Grin](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Did i go overboard with this response:P

i've never owned a honda, but my gut tells me this would be a serious upgrade that you'll be happy with. ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
i have an '04 roadster, and am thrilled with it. just beware of an issue with the soft top - all years - (should you decide on a roadster) where the seams start to split just above both corners of the rear window.
my gas mileage is horrible - it just refuses to go slow.
