Looking at 03 350z track edition
The car is a black 03 track edition w/52k miles 6spd manual clean title.I know the guy and he is looking to sell it. The car is completely stock as far as I know and is garaged winters never raced or tracked. Brakes were fixed at dealership and had the transmission replaced under warranty.
1. I test drove it today and found out the following:
The front tires need replaced and are worn bad on the inside (loud while driving, tire feathering?)
2. The driver side window will roll down but won't roll up without pulling up on it and using the switch.
3. The engine bay is dusty but pretty much stock looking
4. Two rims have minimal curb rash
5. The paint job looks like normal wear and tear and the front seems to be chipped more then my personal taste.
6. Clunky shifting?(is it normal?)
Do you guys think I should deduct the bad and try and get the car for a cheap price or wait and find a very clean z car and pay a little more. I have a good idea of what a perfect working z car should be, but not one that needs a little bit of TLC. What would be a good offer? Sorry no pics, Thanks

I think it might be safe to say that almost all Nissan window motors suck. As for shifting, I think a lot of the 2003 Zs had "clunky" shifting into 3rd and 5th. And yes, tire feathering is very common in 2003 models. Regarding to the dust in the engine bay, ask him to get the car detailed before you buy it.
