Hey guys,

New to the forum and planning on purchasing my first Z this week. This is the car that I am planning on buying:

Walk out price will be $16943.

What do you think? Hop on this car or can I get alot better deal?

Thank you

If the $16,943 is the OTD (out the door) price (that is with taxes, etc. included) I'd say that's an OK price. The '05s are one of the most relaible/troublefree years and it has navigation which was a $2,000 option as I recall if it is factory.
As always, have any car thoroughly inspected by an independent shop and look at sources such as autotrader, craigslist, cars.com, etc. to compare prices locally.
Good luck!!

Get a stick I see that it's a automatic. It looks nice though.

Are you sure that is a Touring? It has the base/enthusiast 17" wheels. Touring models always came with 18". If its not a Touring, it could be an Enthusiast because I see the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. Also, the Navi and Leather are in it which would lead me to believe its a Touring, but those are options that can be added.

If its not a Touring and is an Enthusiast, it wouldn't come with VDC. I would definitely confirm with whomever is selling it if it is. Those wheels shouldn't be on that car.

I don't believe that is correct. The automatic Touring models came with the 17" wheels. The automatic Touring models also did not come with VDC.

According to NissanHelp.com, the 18" wheels came only on the manual transmission cars.

I paid $16,500 for my '03 Track Edition with 44k miles in 2008... It's 2010, and your touring model 2005 costs more... ('03 track is better IMO, rev-up touring is heavier/not faster).

I'd look for a better deal. Either find an extremely well maintained track 350z with the DE motor, or get an 07-08 with the HR motor. Avoid rev-up motors with oil consumption issues.

Well maybe the 350Z is not for you. Have you looked at the RSX?

Good ... Lord. The RSX is so hot. It has to be the sexiest, most reliable car money can buy under $50,000.

Is the RSX thing a joke? I see a lot of guys posting about them. I know I'm going to get flamed but I really just want to know straight up. Is this internet sarcasm or is the RSX the best thing on wheels. I never thought they were anything cool to look at personally.
