Might buy this Z but need your input
Hi guys,
I'm interested in a Z sports car. Would love a 370 sport but I don't feel like being a slave to payments. The 350 looks like it's more in my range. I found this one on the internet and a few days ago went to check it out...

A used 2008 w/ 4000 miles in Black. From what I can tell this is the base trim but then again I'm not an expert (can someone please lay down the basics of the trims). When my brother and I checked it out we found a few minor dents/ scratches. Not sure how some of them got there with only 4000 miles but they are there. I checked one rims also and there were some curb rashes. I will check the rest next time. Anything else I should check out next time. I plan to test drive it in the next few days. Anything I should keep a look out when I'm on the drive?
I'm 27 and I'm leaving my high school car which is a 2000 V6 Auto Silver Base Camaro. My Camaro is finally falling apart on me at 125,000 miles so I thought it was time for a new car. My Camaro is really basic with roll up windows and manual locks so a new/used 2008 350Z would be far more luxurious even with it's "tacky interior".
What do you guys think I can bargain this car down to? Also, the car has pretty low miles but still, should I be worried? Will it still be under warranty? How is the maintenance for this car.
I plan on using it as my daily driver and as a road trip car from Phoenix AZ to (Cali, Las Vegas, Washington, etc) every now and then. How does the car hold up given these tasks? I'm not much into mods or racing but who knows, maybe I will get into it with this Z
I will not be doing crazy mods though. Most likely only air intake, exhaust and rims.
As you can tell I have a lot of questions. I hope to hear your valued input. Can't wait to drive one!
Thanks much,
Mason

Hi,
Base was not my first choice. The sport version was (forgot the term the trim is called). From what I can tell that trim includes cruise control, limited slip differential and maybe the spoiler. The cruise control would be nice but not necessary. If I would like a spoiler in the future I can add one easily correct? The one that I'm in question of this the limited slip differential. Would this enhance the driving experience or could I live without it? There are some curvy roads I plan taking road trips on here in AZ.
I live in Phoenix and it can get very Hot, leather seats is a no go here and I don't need navigation. Does the touring trim bring anything else to the table besides these two? Thanks for the help so far.
