trade a relatively new Z for a 15 year old gray market import with unknown history that could possibly need a rebuild? I say no.

Sidenote: I used to live on Pitkin Ave in Ozone park

Yeh, the unknown history part is the thing I was most concerned about. It could have major problems down the road, that would probably make me regret it.

I don't think your Z fits in the category of what he'll consider for a trade.

What a great description....not.

It sounds like it has problems, and now he's trying to trade it off to someone that doesn't have a clue.

As said above, a gray market import, a few problems, and all he has is some crappy dark pics?

go for it.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Z. The way I saw it, is that anyone can own a Z, and almost anyone can get their hands on one. Just wanted to get some opinions on the GTR. I've got a PM from 06z33 hearing some more details about the car. It's def. not going to be trade, but it still a sexy car...even for a 15 yr old. Thx for the advice.
