Default Help Me find a Z at MSRP!!!!!

After 2 failed attempts at buying a Z at msrp, I am now at a loss.

1st one made up charges AFTER the paperwork was signed, NNA said they would resolve it.....never happend. Then they sold it from under me and told.

Second dealer said they had a preorder drop out for me at MSRP with no "extra charges". Went in, turned out to be LYING his head off.

As of now, i can NOT find any available pre order spots in the GA area.

ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND ONE IN THE VICINITY? SC, NC, AL??

I feel your pain. My first attempt at a taking someone else's preorder went awry, and could have been disastrous! Imagine flying 2200 miles and having the dealer screw you. Fortunately, things worked out for me in the end, and I took delivery 8/24. Paid MSRP, plus $500 to seller, $250 dealer doc fees, $200 window etching, and lost out on my $1000 off MSRP deal at Cerritos Nissan but TOTALLY WORTH IT.

Look for 350Z on ebay. There are TONS of people selling preorder spots, each with a different situation. Most are looking to profit. Some have nonrefundable deposits and just want their money back. You see $1000=5000+ closed bids. Reality is, the sellers actually never got the cold hard cash from these bidders and it is costing the seller $50 each time they relist. Email the sellers directly, and make an offer.

When I found my deal, I sent out about 15 emails. I could not find proof of anyone paying over $500 for a spot. At the point that a seller has paid $200 to ebay to relist 4 times for nonresponsive bids, they're almost willing to give up their spot for just the ebay fees.

The most important part of the equation is the dealer. Make sure you have one that will honor a "transfer from a family friend."

Hope this helps.

Default come up north

Come up north. I havent heard of anything this junk up here in the new york new jersey area. All MSRP, always, all the time! It may be far but hey. Also im sure if you look around you WILL find one. Don't give the dealers the satisfaction of paying over. Tell them that no one will, and dont let them make you think they or others have, its a little game they play. You can easily negotiate to MSRP. And in a few months you'll be negotiating to a few hundred over invoice! Dont give up, you'll find somthing! theres plenty of dealers to call, im sure you can find one in less than an hour of calling dealers.....
