Default my gf may be getting a 370z today (check out the price)

My girlfriend and I decided to stop over to the nissan dealership on a whim yesterday. She wasn't planning on buying a car at all but she loves z's. She presently drives a big o'le hummer. So, as soon as we get in the dealership a salesman starts coming up talking about the 370z to me with the whole spill about the car. I'm like im aware of the z line up and he doesn't say much more after that.

It's an 09 touring model with everything but the nav. Anyhow, after a couple of hours going back and forth with him i got him down to 30,000 flat. Yes, i think this is a really good deal but im sure i can get another 1,000 out of him to drop the price to 29k for a brand new touring.

I went on the 370z.com forum and went through pages of prices it looks like no one on there was able to haggle the price that low. We are still working on the numbers now and if we get it i will post pics. If we decide not to get it i will post where the car is at so that you can try to get this deal.

Nicely done man, good luck on closing the deal. One important thing though, you didn't say the color or tranny!

The car is a 6-speed manual transmission and the car is red with black leather interior. We should know by this evening if she plans on going through with it. Eventhough its a great deal she is still on the wire since her car payment will be a little more than her hummer since she's paid most of her hummer off.

And it's a touring, so not too bad of a deal.

Some people are saving quite a bit on a new 2010 model. You would have to contact Robert or something on that forum. He hands out discounts and tells you where you could get the 370Z (like which dealership near you).

I assume you looks up and asked them to show you the invoice price? You should aim for $500 over that. They still make $ on the holdback.

Nice that's not bad. It shouldn't be a problem. The dealers here are offering 5,000 cash back off the 370's right now. Great time to be in the market for one... unfortunately I am not lol.

Buy 2: one for you - one for her. You will get a better deal.

I'm not seeing any cash back incentives offered for the 370. Are you sure? I saw a $250 bonus cash was all. . . http://www.edmunds.com/new/2010/niss...ncentives.html

If there is a $5k cash back, this guy's deal for the Touring is not a deal at all.

I'm looking at my local paper and it states the "Nissan Now Sales Event" $5,000 off MSRP for 2009 370z Coupes. This is at Alexander Nissan in Cool Springs/Franklin Tennessee right down the street from Nissan North America. Also another dealer has the base advertised at $26,499 with 0.00% APR available. It seems like one of those weekend sales events. So... correct me if I'm wrong but that would be 5K off sticker.

Look at it this way, the difference in payments wont be too much different after you adjust for fuel economy.
