I was wondering how long you searched in the market until you found the perfect used 350Z?

I don't know if I am too picky or I just do not have enough patience.
(Been searching for 2 months now)

Thanks!

Searched 4 months for mine. Resale is strong here in Nashville and I was trying to stick to a lower budget but I still wanted a clean car with lower miles. And even waiting as long as I did still ended up caving in on the model I wanted which was an enthiusist and ended up with a base.....

I searched for 6 months before finding "the one" but she was worth the wait...

Expand your search area! If you limit yourself to cars in your city, your search could be longer than mine. My car was 350 miles away so I flew to her and drove her back home. Even with the flight, I saved $1500-2000

I waited/researched before I bought my first 03 350Z. Before I bought my second Z, I ask the Nissan Sales person that sold me my 03 to be on the look out for a low mileage 05 Z. Two weeks later I had my 05.

Found my 05 after searching the market for only 2 days - they held it for a week until I could sort everything out and get my insurance check, then I drove it off of the lot and brought her home.

It was exactly what I was searching for. 05 PPW, 35k on the odo, enthusiast.

I went to the subaru dealership to get an 07 STI. Test drove the car, loved it... Then I called my insurance agent and he said the monthly premium was going to be like $300. Being good salesmenn, they wouldn't let me leave without test driving some other cars. I test drove an S4, a new GTI, and a new WRX. I wasn't interested in any of them, so I was about to leave. In desperation, the saleman asked me if I had ever driven a 350z. I told him no, but I knew it was a 2 seater coupe and hadn't even considered it for that reason. They had 3 Zs on the lot all parked next to each other. I wasn't really even that interested, but he said to just take one of the 350zs and bring it back in the evening. Well, after a 3 hour solo-test drive and a phone call to my insurance agent ($175 premium) I went back and bought it.

Maybe perfection is unrealistic.

After 13 months maybe the 350Z is not for you. Have you looked at the RSX. Performance AND reliability in one package.

that is a genius sales pitch! when you park a new car next to old crap cars and walk away looking at it you know you wanna say its yours and your not just a poser for a day lol.

what car is orange co driving now?

i was in the market for a new car due to the payments being really good deals and a warranty was a must. was looking at base 370z's and 5.0 stangs. my budget was 30 both were a lil outa reach at well over 30 and terrible rates (v6 stang is half the monthly payments of a v8), with nissan being well over msrp due to japans problems right now.

so i looked for a 350z black orange or blue, within 3 weeks i found a prestine lemans sunset for under 18. time to put that 12k i saved towards some turbos. JK.
