Default Guy From England Needing Buying Advice

So I moved over here from London, England a few months ago and I work in a well paid job within the oil industry, im sick of this crappy underpowered american car ive been renting while I got settled down.

I have saved up enough money to get myself a Z, While searching online I came across this one, not quite was I was expecting to find

http://www.autoplazahouston.com/deta...asp?StkID=4192

I have called the dealership who sent me over a word document which I can post if needed of all the modifications, I dont quite believe the quote of $50k of modifications but there seems to be some pretty expensive parts on there going by what they would cost back home in England.

What should I look out for when viewing this car, any advice would be appreciated as Im planning to maybe view it this weekend or next

thats a member on this forum...... The car does have a lot of mods. I didnt know he sold it..... Although he did say he was already done modding it :/. Frankly from what i saw when he drove in the air suspension looked a lil bouncy :/ but he would know better than i on its state. If you want to find his screen name go into the san antonio i spot you thread you find him easily in the last couple of pages of post.

Also, fyi it a auto so dont let the fake boot/ shift *** fool you.

I wouldnt buy a car pre-modded to me owning it. Half the fun of it is doing it yourself. Yes, it will depreciate and you will never recover what you put into it, but its all worth it. Plus, if this is going to be your daily driver, that Z has WAY to many at risk components for going wrong. AND its a 2003. Good luck with your purchase though!

How much are they asking for it? I would pass, because it would be pointless to try and track that car with all the crap in it and air ride. You'll want more power after a summer of driving it and ditch the supercharger for turbo's anyway : )

Well the only thing you would have to do is get stance springs for the coil overs, Maybe re-due the body kit(if you plan to track it), and convert it to manual(which has been done buy 1 blue 350z on the forum. and your done. got a 400hp 350z for 30k with what i said done. Also, you get volks and alliance bbk which alone are worth almost 4k, supercharger kit 5k easily, rims&tires 4k plus.

Been so busy I havent been able to check back here or at the car, I can agree somewhat with what you guys are saying. With the state of the roads in England I probably wouldnt be able to drive that thing around due to all the humps.

Guess I have some spare money and want something individual, I always had trouble upgrading my car in england as everything is so damn expensive. I did a quick break down on that car and if I were to build up a car like that it would end up costing me a load more money that what it is currently listed for

When I called the Dealership they said they had it online for $24,9 but been contacted by a couple of people from a 350z forum (they didnt/know mention which one) and said if someone came down from one of these forums they would be willing to cover the cost of travel and do something on the price to make it worth their while

not to bad, just realise that you could probly get a used 05 with about 40 to 50k miles for 15 or 16 grand but if you would rather buy something that is already set up this isnt to bad. Also you could always sell any of the parts you dont like and get some money from them. Just make sure that the engine, supercharger, and drivetrain are in good shape and you should be alright.
