Are you really paying $700 for a radar detector? You might want to sleep on it.

that's a damn good deal on the SRX. I just bought a Escort 8500 and would trade it in if I could get an SRX for that price... problem is install isgoing to kill you...

Don't feel bad. Those in the know know that the V1 is still at the top of the food chain. Yeah, it might not be a remote unit, but in the end, the numbers don't lie. Nothing out there beats it. And most don't even come close.

I have a V1 and wouldn't trade it for all the cheese in Italy.

Now I gotta just get the thing and hook it up. I can't stand this slow driving! The Z just wants to go fast, and who am I to hold her back?
