I need to make a decision. What should my first car be?
So I'm in the need of my first car, to get a job, to go to college. My dad helped me by getting a PAL on my name, worth of 12,000$. I will be paying for the rates though.
My favorite car is the Nissan 350Z. That's what I want to get, as long as I find a decent one around 10,000.
I've been to a dealership with my dad and the agent there tried to convince me and my dad that a Nissan 350Z would not be the right choice.
He said the insurance price would be too high (would it be really that high?)
He started suggesting a brand new Hyundai Accord, worth 18,000$
That exceeds my limit, but he said the dealership can make a new monthly plan.
The car looked good. He stated that the insurance would be decent, the gas savings will be substantial and plus, the warranty is a huge bonus.
What should I do (I think it's a little too much for me, and the Nissan the car that would put a smile on my face)?

I know, it does sound like everything is pointing to the Accord.
But the way I see things..
There's a blonde pretty girl, by the name of Nissan 350Z. Her looks are perfect, in my book. She used to fool around but that doesn't change the way I'm attracted to her. She's more dangerous and needs more expensive things, but the sex is amazing. It's quite possibly that she'll eventually break my heart or steal my money and run away, but she'd still be the best I've ever had.
There's a less-attractive girl, Hyundai Accord. She is a virgin, and looking for a long-term commitment. She's not materialistic at all, she seems loyal and she would never hurt me. In order to get her, I have to be commited to her, a thing that I don't want right away. She's a great girl, but I'm bored. I don't find her that exciting, I don't even have the proper motivation to provide for her.
Now, which one of those girls should be my first ?
I crack myself up. lol
Oh, I even forgot the second girl's name. That's how interesting I find her...
Her name is not Accord, it's Accent.

I see 2 problems here:
1. You have no money for a down payment. Figure $18 car. Put $6 down. Borrow $12. Who is going to loan you $12 with no down payment?
2. These "Thinking about buying a 350Z" threads that involve Dad seldom work out well. Dad has the money. Dad makes the choice.
