Default Buying a 350z. Need advice.

I'm likely going to be buying an 04 350z Touring tomorrow. 6 speed with LoJack security...and it's fully stock.

Clean title w/ 29,600 miles.

Asking price is $15.5k flat. KBB is 15.8k.

Words of wisdom from anyone?

Thanks

Z looks stock and clean.
29600 miles is a winner.
Offer $14275

I'd say start at 13k so you get something resembling a discount

Ha ok money bags, go buy a GTR then probably be a better idea after yaounde start modding a 350 you will more then likely be further ahead from the start with a GTR. Just my opinion, GTR'S are stupid expensive in Canada so I wouldn't event thing of entertaining that idea. GL with your choice hope it all works out for u in the end.

it's a 2004. That is way overpriced regardless of miles....

Are you purchasing from a dealer or private party? My initial offer would be $13,500 and max out around $14,500. If you start at $13,000, the seller will not treat you as a serious buyer. In addition, I would compare prices with you local CarMax or see sellers are asking on Autotrader within a 100 mile radius of your area.

Don't quibble over a few bucks.Low miles for a 04.Interior has to be in good shape.
Possibly a one owner/older guy/gal...weekend driver.
If you are in love with the car, whats a grand or so over the many years of driving pleasure and fun you'll have fixin it up?
Go for it and don't look back!

Thanks for the advice. I got for 15k. Seller was an older fellow and interior is in pristine condition. Very excited about today's purchase.

Sweet! I'm picking up my black 04 base this week! It's got quite a few more miles but has the same wheels and is in decent condition. Here's to us and our new rides!

i feel KBB is inflated. I wouldn't have gone over 13k, Edmund's has it at 13.2k for dealer retail. But whats the few extra thousand for the enjoyment as stated before. Congrats on the purchase and welcome

another 2 grand would have got you a newer HR Z! I'm sure you'll enjoy it either way. Good luck!
