Default Buying a Z with an aftermarket radio

So I am looking at buying a Z, and would prefer to find one completely stock. That includes the radio (I just prefer the stock head unit aesthetic and interface design). Would there be any problem finding a used stock head unit and having it reinstalled? I have installed head units in my earlier cars, and had to chop up the wiring to do it. I was hoping they might have finally figured out how to do it with a harness and connector, or something equally reversible.

Should be a direct plug an play, I'll sell mine for $50+shipping. They're everywhere on the forum from $50-$150.

Take a look around the Marketplace. You should be able to find one for around $30-50.

Its gonna be hard to find a used Z,at least one that is 4-5 yrs old that the previous
owner/owners have not changed out the head unit.
As noted, the OEM units are plentiful at give away prices.
Check online.
They are everywhere...plug in &play.
