So I am looking at buying a Z, and would prefer to find one completely stock. That includes the radio (I just prefer the stock head unit aesthetic and interface design). Would there be any problem finding a used stock head unit and having it reinstalled? I have installed head units in my earlier cars, and had to chop up the wiring to do it. I was hoping they might have finally figured out how to do it with a harness and connector, or something equally reversible.

Take a look around the Marketplace. You should be able to find one for around $30-50.
