He was planning on sticking to coupes. Very few options in those. No SUV for him.

Nice options. If i was in his place i would have got one of those. But he is no European make fan.

Lease not an option. He is worried about maintaining a pre owned Audi.

He has listed two 350zs which he will be test driving tomorrow. Chances are one of them will land up with him in garage.

This car has an auto transmission which does not have the rev-up engine. Only the M/T '06s had the rev-up.

Guys, sorry to say but the deal didn't go through.

The owner was quoting higher price. $17400. We were not willing to go above $16700.

We liked another 2006 350z which is a touring model. The previous one was a cloth interior one so it must be base model. For 2006 touring with 38k miles, the dealer is asking $19k which again seems to be on higher side. So not able to make up our mind to splurge that much for a 6 year old car.

Someone, please convince us.

I will just say I would not drive a Z in the snow in Colorado. Not because it can't be done but because of the magchloride they put on the roads. That is nasty stuff no matter what the goverment there says. I always kept a beater for snow driving and kept the cars in the garage during snow. This was pretty mcuh what everyone I knew in Colorado did.

A small update on my friend's part.

He bought a 2006 White 350z with 38k on odo. He got it for $19k OTD. The asking price was some $19500 plus tax and fees.

Very neat and well maintained.

Thank you all for your inputs. Appreciate it.

Yes it may be a little high, but the dealer was not willing to go down. Also kbb says it should be $20700. So we feel its an ok price even though a little bit high. But it has warranty too and low rate of interest.
