Default 2005 Yellow 350z 35th Anniversary

Hi guys,

I just want to ask for your opinions. I just saw this 2005 yellow 35th anniversary 350z on CL listed for $18k+ and the KBB value is around $19k-$21k.

The cars in great condition (going to look at carfax for proof) and it's only 55k miles but I ask them I will cash $16k for it and they are willing. You guys think it's a good deal?

It's got HID headlights and custom Z tail lights I think and has a body kit on it too. It's one of those rare Z's. Thanks!

It looks good except for the auto part. I would pass just for that.

I like the body, pics don't do it justice. Any body damage, accidents, paint chips etc? Not sure since this one is an anniversary model if it had the oil consumption engine, but I thought the real anniversary models came as 6MT. Might look into that.

Thanks guys. I will look deeper into this vehicle before I purchase it. Auto or not, it's okay I can live with it. Not going to take it to the track or start being a wannabe "Too fast too furious" racer out there on the streets. Just for pleasure and enjoyment cruising around town and road trips in the near future.

So you're saying, it's not worth it? I'm not really picky when it comes to the engines and all that. As long as the car is great and the price is reasonable I don't mind buying any years of the Z

If you can get it for $16k then take it and Put some stock tails on it ASAP. Personally I wouldn't buy it since it's a auto.

Thanks for your input! I know people will look at the car and be like, "Wow, nice car", etc and come up closed and walked away horrified, "It's an auto, ewww, puke, puke".

But, personally for me it's okay!

The first car's mileage is too high and it's silver. Too many silver cars nowadays I don't like silver.

The second car is a SCAM. Probably been in accident or salvage. Might of been sold by now too.

Personally, its yellow and of course an auto, but yellow screams "look at me!!"

Also, when I bought my z it was NOT the one I wanted but I did want a z at the time. After I bought mime, a lot.of Z's popped up in the color I wanted and with the add ons I wanted. So I say just wait..

35AE were available in both 5AT with the DE engine and mid-year 6MT with the RevUp engine.

In 2005, only the Track model had no 5AT option -- it was RevUp and 6MT-only.

Not all of the RevUp engines had oil consumption problems. Mine was on an autocross course with only 220 miles on the odo, and hasn't had any oil problems. Personally, I find it very interesting that some people have had multiple engines with the same oil problem -- while others have had no problems at all.

Other than the auto comment
I would ask and see if the seller still has the factory wheels, definitely not feeling the taillights either...
