Default Should I buy a Z with 232k miles

Hey Guys, I have recently been looking at Z's and stumbled upon one with 232k miles. Has anyone ever heard of Z's going much longer than this? It is slightly modded so I feel like there is a possibility of it being abused some of its life. Would it be worth it if I could get this car for 6,500?

Here is the link to the ad: http://bgky.craigslist.org/cto/3200674916.html

Any input would be great..

I wouldnt buy a grocery getter DD with that many miles. A sports car is completely out of the question.

Wow, that's a lot of miles. Still, it looks halfway decent. Don't know if I'd pay $8k for that, though.

I would say go for it if you dont mind dropping a new motor in it in less than 50k miles... or at least set the money aside for when it happens

$3800 max

If the owner looks at you funny repeat the miles to him out loud!

I worry about my car with 44K, and people even consider something like this.

for another grand or 2 more you can easily find a z with 100-150k less miles on it in better condition

like this, only dislike it the automatic part http://bgky.craigslist.org/cto/3149740901.html

I think if you are that tight on money, its going to be a very bad decision because most likely that car has been abused and really its going to need attention in all areas, wheel bearings, transmission, random things and most importantly ENGINE. Maybe its a cream puff, but its a sports car and mileage like that would typically bring a high repair bill in the near future.

Plus, you will never EVER be able to get anything out of it resale wise, even if it has a new drivetrain, its still got 200K + miles on it.

That would be a good car to buy and make a track car out of.

dude not even close to a good idea man. Even if everyday you daydream about 350Z's while bagging groceries, this is not the one. She's not worth it.
