New- Please help me
Hi guys I'm new to the website and I'm closing in on buying a 350z .
My budget is around $16k , I've been looking around CL and on some dealerships and found a 08 nismo for 15k . http://www.rtmotorsports.net/detail....PrefID=0&.aspx
thats the car , I have looked around KBB and seems to sell for a really low price .. what do you think? is that a good price? should i be looking for something suspicious? should I offer a lower price?
Thanks on advance

First off, seats are wrong. I believe they were black with red stitching or black and red?
There should be a "Nismo" logo in the gauges. This one doesn't have Brembos.

Rule #1 -- Do not buy someone else's project. The kit on that car looks terrible, fitment is bad, wheels do not look good... it looks abused. If you can't tell by that picture then I don't know what to tell you.
As for it not being a Nismo, it does not have the Nismo stitching in the seats, Nismo tachometer, or the serialized plaque of authenticity matched to each Nismo Z, identifying its unique serial and model year designation (ex. Z33 06 0123).

Yea, the body kit doesn't join up nicely and the sides look like they've been beat up really badly.
Judging by the interior (no cruise or steering wheel controls), no leather seats, doesn't look like it has a VDC or TCS button, I'm going to say it's a base model.

When people start looking at KBB they see what they think is a good deal and jump on it. Watch the market, and you'll eventually learn what is and what isn't a good price. I live in Canada, where there is a good and a bad time of year to buy.
As already stated, that is definitely NOT a Nismo. Because there are no controls on the steering wheel it appears to be a base model.
It appears the previous owner was a "Fast & Furious" wannabe. I'd steer clear.

whoa pardner, that car you were looking at has "headache" written all over it! And any dealer that would try to present that car as a NISMO, is definitely unscrupulous!
Noted the north Nellis Blvd address for the dealer, no doubt the kind of shady joint that tries to prey on young airmen, lol!

hope this link works, just did a quick 2003-2008 350z with manual transmission search in the local area.
Also be aware that buying from a private individual (versus a dealer) can save you alot of money in Nevada, as you do NOT have to pay sales tax, either at the point of sale, or when you register. On a 16k car that will save you almost $1400 bones in sales taxes!
