Default Looking at getting a 350z

Hey guys, I am looking into getting a 350z, but am doing a bit of research before pulling the trigger on one. As much as I'd love to get a 370z, that's not going to happen with my $10,000 budget So I guess if I were to get a Z with that budget, what year should I look for and why? Which specific model should I consider?

I recently sold my 1993 Honda Prelude VTEC, which I loved, but decided I should get something a little newer. I really like the look of the 350z compared to other cars in its class (Mazda RX-8, Audi TT, etc). Anyway, just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks!

You should focus on finding the lowest mileage, stock, unmolested z you can find regardless of year or model IMO.
Performance, Enthusiast, Touring or Track models are what you should be looking for.
You can certainly find '03-'04 zs with low miles within your budget as well as '05-'06 zs, it will be harder to find an '07-'09 within your budget.

Yeah I'm really looking at more of the 07-08' years as I've heard they have a more reliable engine. Mileage isn't an issue to me as I'm pretty handy when it comes to maintenance. The enthusiast model is enticing to me. Anything over that trim line seems to be overkill.

IMO the most reliable z is the '03-'04 if you can find a low mileage example that hasn't been abused.
I bought mine new in '04, zero problems had ever since.

In all honesty, they're all great if they were cared for properly.
