Default Actual drive off price (generic financing question)

So I'm looking at the performance model. It's listed at $30,429 on freshalloy.com and having never bought a car before I don't know what other charges to expect. If I got the car for that price, what would I be looking at as far as taxes and any other fees? Is $30k realistic for the perf. right now?

Thanks Z lovers

Tax, title and license is going to cost you a little over 10% or the purchase price. Also keep in mind that there is a $540 destination fee that may or may not be in the price you mentioned.

10% is a good number to use. In Texas (at least North Texas), sales tax on vehicles is 6.25% and title and license fees are usually < $200 combined.

Michael.

BTW, the price with options that I was quoted was 35,514, and the TT&L listed was $3600 and some change. I imagine that you would pay someing close in San Diego. I am not sure how the title and licensing fees vary with vehicle price (so you might save some on a less expensive model).

Performance list price no options is $30,969. No options but delivery included. This is the price I paid (or will pay later this month)

35,514 is MSRP, with all options except nav, and with destination fee included for the track model.

Default other fees

For Tom Peacock in Houston I was charged the $540 destination fee and another $380 fee that they said all the Nissan dealerships charged on every car. Was I duped?

Registration fees are high in California. My Performance had just floor mats and airbags, plus $500 additional dealer markup over MSRP, and my out-the-door price was $34-something.

I purchased a Super black performance model with areo, carpets and kick plate. My out the door price with taxes (8.75)% tags and title was 35,311. When my car came in the price was actually $500 less than the 35,311. My actual price on delivery was 34,811.

Nice. Personally, I'm torn between the silver and black performance model.
