Default Zaino questions I haven't found on Search..

1) After I apply the ZFX and I am ready to buff it off, what motion should I use to take it off(i.e. circular, left to right, up and down etc)

2) After I have the Zaino on my car and I use the Z-7 to wash it, will it leave water spots if I don't towel dry?

1) I don't think it matters too much, just press lightly

2) I would assume so. It's the minerals in the water that cause waterspotting.

1) DON'T use circular motion. Always use a linear (back and forth) for washing, applying polish (Zaino) and buffing. The generally accepted method is front to back on the horizontal surfaces, up and down on vertical surfaces. It all has something to do with accidentally induced scratches/swirls being less visible.

2) Yes, unless you rinse with distilled water. Use the "sheeting trick" to get most of the water to run off the car during the rinse. Blot whatever drops that are left with a waffle-weave microfiber towel.

I have some pretty heavy water here and use the Mr. Clean car wash system's de-ionized water spray to rinse and wash the car with the Zaino car wash. Spotless even on the super black finish. I have tried the leaf blower on my SUV which works too, it ought to work on a Z too but ... darn, just can bring myself to do that to my babe.

I use the leaf blower all the time. That's the only way to get the water out of places like the door and rear hatch openings, crevices around the head and tail lights, the gas filler cover, rear view mirrors, lug nuts, etc.

There's nothing worse than drying the car then taking it for a spin then finding water streaks where it ran out of some hiding place.

I assume you mean Z-2 or Z-5 activated with ZFX. Use up and down on the sides and back and forth on the horizontal surfaces. See here under tricks:

"After I have the Zaino on my car and I use the Z-7 to wash it, will it leave water spots if I don't towel dry?"

Most likely, it has nothing to do with your paint polish protection choice, it has to do with mineral content in your water supply.
