Default Redline Question

I have never owned a red car. How hard is the redline Z to keep clean. I have a black F150 pickup and well, it looks good for a while after I clean and wax. I will never have a black vehicle again. Just wondering about red. I like the non-metallic paints because of the depth of them....although the daytona blue looks pretty sharp.

My Z32 was Cherry Red Pearl, and wasn't too bad to keep clean. It was easier than my black 'teg, but harder than my light blue Z31. I would wash it once every week or two and wax every 3 months using Zymol. Thing looked good. =) Redline isn't dark enough to make it that difficult to stay nice

I really like this color! It is new to Nissan and a truer red than the 'super red' color of the past. Having owned both black and red vehicles, I can say that red is an easier color to take care of. Having said that, my friend and I put a beautiful shine on his wife's black Accord the other day. Blackfire looked great on that car as well as my Redline Z!

The redline is not a difficult color to keep clean, but mine has an abundance of orange peel.

So far besides a little Meguiar's Quik Detailer and an old t shirt, the finish is great. 1000 miles and just dust.

The one thing that does not work in REDLINE's favor is the lack of metallic flakes. Dirt does not blend in very well. That being said, the color is really bright, and will easily hide a fine layer of dust. As the dust collects, the car begins to look dull, but not necessarily dirty. I wash my Redline every 2 weeks or so, and it looks pretty sharp.

I have a G35 Coupe in Laser Red, which is the same color as redline. It looks amazing, and isn't hard to keep looking clean. I only took delivery last wednesday, but it's rained off and on everyday except one here. Still looks great and you have to look very closely to see the dirt on it. Great color.
