Cool DETAILING INTERIOR.... :icon18:

I have just picked up my 03' silverstone touring. It came as dirty as they could come. I wanted to protect the interior, but because I never seen that type of texture on the dash before, I wasn't sure what to use. What's the best way of protecting the insides including the leather seats?

put the liquid on the cloth, not on the dash/seats. youll avoid splothes and shiny spots.

use a good leather cleaner, my tan seats get rather dirty. clean them often.
use your standard vinyl cleaner.

Just start with some mild soap & water on the interior to get the heavy stuff off the dash, door panels, etc. Then get some Zaino for all detailing & care needs.

www.zainostore.com.

Get a Claybar, Z2, Z5, Z6, Z7 and Z-PC.

Get some leather cleaner and conditioner as well. Once you've got it all clean & shiney you may use the leather cleaner to keep the interior nice.

Get some good Micro fiber and 100% cotton towels as well.

The best thing for the door panels and other plastic pieces is 303 Aerospace Protectant. As the other guys pointed out, don't ever spray anything directly on the door panels, dash or console. That will cause it to have a blotchy look.

They even use a 350Z in their advertising for it. Buy it

The interior plastic stains easily:

1. In a bucket of clear water, add an ounce or two of your favorite plastic cleaner/protector.

2. Toss a clean white towel in the bucket. Ring the towel. Wipe down all the plastic.

Used to use just clean hot/warm water. But, now am using Groit's Garage interior cleaner. It works great and no residue or spotting. If you order anything from them, they'll send a 4 or 6oz sample. I'm the other stuff people are using works fine, too.

303 applied to cloth.......not directly to door panels.
