paint stained for good?
Update: Took the car in to an old friend whos doing detailing for a living> I have no idea what exactly the product/compound was he put on it... it was rather thick though. Literally took off whatever the hell that was... His guess was air bourn rust.

the car is still there...
Ad yah the clearcoat is still there... I have no idea what the product he used was. It was in nameless tube. It almost looked like toothpaste.
I was in a hurry at the moment but I'll be sure to ask him exactly what it was he used when I see him.
