Default paint stained for good?

Okay, came to give the Z a wash today... Noticed a few yellowish/rust looking spots on the car that wer enever there before. Tried putting some elbow into it... did nothing. Tried claybaring it, again... absolutely nothing. Wont even budge....
You Cant feel it with your finger/nails... it almost looks like its gone through the clearcoat and onto the paint...

how the hell can I get this off?

Dont think high speed buff can get it off... I mean... claybar was almost non-existant to this thing.

I have no idea what to do in that situation, could that maybe be some kind of chemical that somehow got onto the paint? Maybe when you were driving behind one of those ***hole big trucks that carry stuff like that in it. Sorry about the luck, wish I could help! Take it to a paint shop and get a pro opinion on it is what I would do, and prolly figure out which one is the best in town and take it there.

That thing is hideous. It's like finding a third nipple on a hot chick.
If it got under the clear coat, no amount of buffing I know can get it out. Maybe try a detail specialist (or whatever they're called), you know those guys that restore clear coat and have industrial strenght scratch remover.

Looks like some tree sap maybe. Might wanna try some bug and tar remover or something of the like. That stuff is pretty tricky.

you may want to try a paint cleanser of some kind, it may help, you should be able to find some at your local auto parts store

something like this may help:

http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-cleaner...Cleaner-Polish

If you can't find that, meguiars scratch x works too

Good luck

Default Paint stain

I had the same stuff on my car! I do not know what it was it was not rail dust or bird crap or even bug guts. I had a spot on my roof and driver rear quarter panel by the hatch, tried clay and it did'nt do anything(I also use Zaino and my car is immaculate). The only thing I clould get to work was a little 3M tar and wax remover followed by some medium grade lacquer thinner followed by some mothers cleaner wax, even after all of that I could still see the spots on my clearcoat looked like the stuff raised the surface of the clearcoat. I may try wetsanding the surface a little. This is the first time I had this problem the stuff looked like grasshopper puke or something and left the surface of the clear neon yellow even after washing, looks ok now other than the raised surface which I can only see in my garage under the flouresent lights. Let me know how you make out.

Nobody threw a cigarette at your car did they that almost looks like a burn.

Suggestion -No, not tree sap since he can't feel it...which is bad. The only thing I can think of is some acidtone (Nail polish remover 100%) which will eat away the clear coat and expose the stain. Then you can always clear coat it again after you remove the stain.

Hint - My suggestion is that you try this first on another car since I've never done it myself.

How? - Maybe your Z had unprotected sex with an domestic.

It does kind of look like tree sap, try some WD40 on it. If it's tree sap, the WD40 will take it off in a few minutes of buffing.

again, clay bar will not work. Ive already tried... It wont even make it budge... AT ALL.
And no, you cant feel it with your nail. It feels just like normal paint would... except its stained.
Ive literally clay bar'd the spot 10 times with some muscle in it... it aint movin at all... cant be a cigarette burn either as I have a good 3-4 spots.

The stain appears to have gone through the clear coat and into the paint. Why guess at possible solutions and possibly make it worse. Take it to a pro.

^^^^+1 maybe it's a bad batch of metal or something wrong during the production of the vehicle and its now showing up....kinda like a chemical reaction or something.
Very interesting, can't wait for the results.

Default Paint stain

I would get that $*** off for you but I live in Pennsylvania. Its kind of hard to tell you how to approach cleaning these stains off since I cant see them in person. I am a reconditiong(Detail) manager for a dealer. Why don't you take it to a detail shop and ask for some advice you may even be able to watch when the car is worked on. Just be careful make sure the person knows what they are doing if they can't answer your questions on the problem don't let them touch your car. If only we lived closer I would help you!

You could try some 2000-2500 grit sandpaper (wet) on it. If it doesn't do anything with just a couple passes, then it's under the clear-coat. Should be covered under Nissan warranty if that is the case.

On the last BIG pic...are those scuff-marks from you clay-barring it?
